Plate Groups. During the first lockdown I started playing with ways to develop my drawings to make more abstract compositions and to develop ways of presenting new textures and combinations of images, which will later be worked up into larger pieces such as bowl stacks. These are simple pieces - shaped slabs with no feet. They work as plates or can be hung on the wall. (I suggest 'Original Invisible Adhesive Plate Hangers' available online.) I have enjoyed playing with new ways to put them together, breaking away from topographical representation.
