of ceramicist Anna Lambert
and painter David Thomas.
is located at the edge of the village of Crosshills in the Aire valley, between the Pennine hills and the Yorkshire Dales.
David Thomas makes paintings and drawings about things on tables, horizons, land and sky, but mostly about the fluid process of painting.
Anna Lambert makes hand built earthenware ceramics, using the domestic forms of bowls, jars and candlesticks to express her response to landscape and the progression of the seasons.
Anna has work available at The Contemporary Ceramics Centre in London, Blackwell Arts & Crafts House, Windemere and at Gavagan Art in Settle, N Yorkshire.
Anna will have a range of new work for sale at Ceramic Art London, now in its third year in the beautiful atrium at Central Saint Martins art College in Kings Cross, London.
Anna's Work for Sale page has been updated in Mid December 2016 - please email if you have enquiries about any pieces or commissions.
David has work on show at the Zillah Bell Gallery in Thirsk, and in the winter exhibition at Gavagan Art in Settle, both in North Yorkshire. He is also exhibiting some small work in the shop at the very wonderful Abbott Hall in Kendal.
Both Anna & David will be showing work as part of North Yorkshire Open Studios at Rushbank, above Carleton. We will be sharing the space with Bridget Tempest, Chris Murray, Jacquie Denby and Joan Murray. Along with the beautiful setting, it will be well worth a visit.
Other work is available at Junction Workshop. If you have any enquiries please get in contact here.
