ARCHIVE 2014 - 2022.
These pieces track the development of my work over the past few years, as I became more confident in the use of coloured slips with brushwork, inlay and stenciling the primary methods of adding colour. I was also developing my use of narrative and drawing, and forms have become simpler so as not to fight with the imagery. Each piece relates to a particular place, to my observations and emotional response to those places. like many contemporary artists I am interested in the way the world is changing due to climate change, and this is often reflected in the work made during this period. I don't intend to proselytise but to make a record of the world as I see it, as have ceramicists throughout history .
These galleries contain images previously shown on this website and all these pieces are now sold.
