About Anna Lambert

farnhill birches later

Using a range of techniques including altered clay slabs, modelling, slip and underglaze painting and various simple printmaking methods, Anna Lambert has developed her hand built earthenware to reflect a connection with her locality and to the fragile and constantly changing environment, responding to places as divers as wild bleak moorland and bird-filled hedgerows.

Anna currently works from her Crosshills studio that she shares with her husband, the painter David Thomas. She has exhibited widely throughout the UK including solo exhibitions at the Scottish Gallery, Edinburgh and at Contemporary Ceramics, London, and in galleries in Europe and USA.
